At work, I’m the Lead News Designer for the Star Tribune. I focus on our biggest news coverage and enterprise stories. I’m quick to solve problems on tight deadlines and I’m meticulous at planning projects in the future.

Outside work, I’m a husband, cat dad, rock climber, beer drinker, canoer, board gamer, video gamer, novice novel reader, crossword solver, record enthusiast and traveler.

I served as the competition coordinator for the Society for News Design’s 43rd annual competition, recruiting 27 judges from around the world. I continue to volunteer with the SND competition committee and I’m a member of the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA).
