At work, I'm a Design Director for the Minnesota Star Tribune. My focus is guiding the visual storytelling for our biggest news coverage and enterprise. I’m quick to solve problems on tight deadlines and I’m meticulous at planning projects in the future.
Outside work, I’m a husband, cat dad, rock climber, canoer, board gamer, video gamer, novice novel reader, crossword solver, record enthusiast and traveler.
I’m the Vice President of Recruiting for the Minnesota chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association and was a 2025 fellow in AAJA’s Executive Leadership Program.
I’m a University of Minnesota graduate through the Hubbard School of Journalism and sit on the Hubbard advisory board as a founding member.
I served as the competition coordinator for the Society for News Design’s 43rd annual competition, recruiting 27 judges from around the world.
